This page is your one-stop resource for understanding and supporting your child through Florida’s statewide assessments. Whether your child is in kindergarten or preparing for graduation, we’ve gathered everything you need to know.
Florida’s statewide assessments measure student achievement based on the Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards. Click below to learn more about each assessment.
Florida uses computer-adaptive tests (CATs) to tailor assessments to each student’s ability level.
The Florida Department of Education offers resources to help your child become familiar with test formats and tools. Included in these resources are released computer-based assessments as well as paper-based assessments.
Testing calendars for the 2025-2026 school year are posted below. It is extremely important that your child is at school on these days so that we are able to collect the information that we need to make appropriate instructional decisions. Therefore, we ask that you refrain from scheduling any appointments or vacations during these times. Your child's school will send out additional information with specific testing dates for your child.
