School Choice Transportation - Waitlist Process

If transportation capacity is reached before all hub stop bus pass requests can be fulfilled, any remaining applications will be placed on a waiting list in the order of the lottery numbers assigned.

The waiting list will remain active for the entire school year and will be reviewed every 30 days. As transportation capacity becomes available, seats will be offered to families in waiting list order.

The Transportation Office will notify families by email when a seat becomes available. Families will have five (5) days to accept or decline the offer. If no response is received within the offer window, the offer will be automatically declined.

  • Accepted Offers: The student will be removed from the waiting list and issued a hub stop bus pass.
  • Declined or No Response: The student will be removed from the waiting list, and the next eligible student will be contacted.

Parents/guardians may view their student’s waitlist status at any time through the myStudent Parent Portal under the Transportation section.
