• AP Eligibility Process

  • ​Assist with the implementation and scoring of scenario and written submissions used to determine assistant principal eligibility

• New Leader Mentor

  • ​ Serve as a mentor to a new assistant principal
    • Leadership Mentor Training
      • Professional development designed to provide mentors with the knowledge, skills, and ability to successfully support a new leader

• Preparing New Principal Program (PNPP)

  • ​Application Window: March 1, 2023 -  March 10, 2023
  • Interviews: April 3, 2023 -  April 6, 2023
  • Purpose: The Preparing New Principal Program (PNPP) in Pasco County provides future principal candidates with learning experiences that align with the Florida Principal Leadership Standards as well as Pasco's Vision for Leadership Excellence.  Applicants for School Principal Certification will engage in a yearlong preparation program that requires demonstration of excellence in all core leadership competencies.
  • Requirements: Internal Candidates for this program must:
    • Currently possess a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and have Educational Leadership on their Florida Educator Certificate.
    • Have three years of successful experience serving as a school based assistant principal and currently be in this role.
