Welcome to the Planning Department
The mission of the Planning Department is to provide for adequate school capacity so that our students have the best possible learning environment. The department develops growth projections and work plans, conducts real estate transactions, is involved with local government review of new housing developments, maintains the Florida Inventory of School Houses (F.I.S.H.) database and oversees school attendance boundaries. The Department also provides a variety of demographic and capacity related data and maps for schools, district departments and the public.
