The ESOL Program is a collection of services that support Kindergarten through 12th-grade students’ English language development and academic achievement. The program also seeks to promote cultural responsiveness and equitable practices to best serve our students. Click here to learn more.

Pasco County Schools is proud to offer a variety gifted services for our K-12 students. These services range from consult to our new Centers for Gifted Studies, in which gifted services are provided to students within a setting that has been designated as a gifted class. This environment is made up exclusively of gifted eligible students and facilitated by a teacher of gifted or multiple gifted endorsed teachers. Through our gifted services, we strive to provide intellectual and academic opportunities for students to maximize their potential through collaboration, innovation, and problem solving, while supporting their unique social-emotional needs.

Mental health and well-being include our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make everyday choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

The School Counseling Program will provide a comprehensive developmental school counseling program that is data driven and will assist all students in their academic, career and personal/social development, providing all students with the skills needed to reach their highest potential and to achieve college, career, and life readiness.

Authorized under Federal law through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act, the Students In Transition Program (S.I.T.) provides services to ensure identified homeless children and youth have access to a free and appropriate public education by removing barriers due to homelessness.
