Each year, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) surveys parents of students with an individual educational plan (IEP) to determine how well districts and schools are partnering with parents and promoting parent involvement in their student’s education. The survey is open to all parents of students with an IEP receiving ESE services from preschool age to grade 12. If your child has an IEP, you are encouraged to complete the survey to help the state and local school systems continue improving educational programs for children with special needs. 

The ESE Parent Survey is translated into several languages using the web-based format. The ESE Parent Survey remains anonymous and is open beginning March 1, 2024, and will close on June 30, 2024.
