According to the 2018 Social and Emotional Learning Report from McGraw-Hill Education/Morning Consult, 81percent of parents believe that Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is just as important as academic learning.  In Pasco County Schools, we have been focusing on understanding how building self-awareness in children can help them be more successful both in school and out of school.  The website ParentToolKit.com has a number of resources for parents to help their children develop their self-awareness skills, regardless of their age.
