In an emotional ceremony held at the media center of River Ridge High School, friends, family, and faculty gathered to celebrate a significant milestone for twenty-seven seniors who completed the Pasco County Schools Teacher Academy program. These future educators signed contracts guaranteeing them a golden opportunity to return to Pasco County Schools for employment after their graduation.

Beth Hess, a dedicated educator within the academy, was moved to tears as she expressed her gratitude and pride for her students. “This is more than a ceremony; it’s a testament to the dedication and passion these young individuals have for education,” said Hess amidst the applause and cheers of attendees. The event was a celebration of academic achievement and a heartwarming acknowledgment of the bonds and memories forged over the years between the students and their mentors.
