Pasco’s Accessibility Week

Pasco’s Accessibility Week will take place Sept. 9 through 13 and is a week to highlight how technology can enable and empower learners of all ages and levels of ability to create, collaborate, and communicate. The most powerful technology is technology that allows everyone to personalize their learning experiences to maximize their creative potential. In order to make this happen we will be highlighting some accessibility tools already built in to Apple devices.

Events of the week will include highlighting accommodation tools, sharing resources, a Twitter chat, an Apple educator badging opportunity for PD points (and a prize), and a puppet show featuring our Teaching Academy.

Twitter chat: (From Apple Distinguished Educators) is a "slow Twitter chat" from August to October covering different questions about this book and various chapters. They'll be discussing chapter 3 the week of September 9, which is all about Liberal Arts, and covers communication, content creation, print to digital, and research & productizing tips.
