Pasco Schools will host an Instructional Hiring Event on Thursday, March 23, in an effort to fill open positions for next school year.

 

The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Cypress Creek High School gymnasium at 8701 Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel. Principals from across the school district will be in attendance, ready to conduct interviews to fill current openings as well as positions for the 2023-24 school year.

 

As is the case with most school districts, especially in Florida, Pasco has teacher vacancies throughout the school year. In recent months, Pasco has consistently averaged approximately 200 vacant instructional positions. In addition to recruitment efforts to fill current vacancies, Pasco is aggressively looking to fill anticipated openings for next school year as well.
