Who: Career and Technical Education (CTE) students, manufacturers, and instructors
What: Manufacturing Day
When: Friday, October 4. Buses will depart the schools between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Where: Various Pasco County Manufacturers (Details below)
Why: To highlight the importance of manufacturing in our economy and to draw attention to the many rewarding, high skilled manufacturing jobs, as well as to support and celebrate Florida's manufacturers and school programs that prepare our future workforce.
How: Career education students will tour selected manufacturers in Pasco County to get hands-on knowledge of career opportunities in their home county. The Office for Career and Technical Education staff will accompany students on tours of manufacturing businesses where students will learn about the manufacturing partner assigned to their field of study. A list of participating schools and manufacturers is included below.
