Pasco County Schools partners with Ready4K to boost learning

This post was created on 02/14/2023.

Parents and caregivers are an integral part of the learning team. That’s why Pasco County Schools has partnered with the family engagement experts at Ready4K to offer information, encouragement, and support.

On February 20, you’ll start receiving research-based text messages with fun facts, tips, and activities to help your child learn and grow. Ready4K’s carefully sequenced program helps parents teach children key skills in language and literacy, math and science, health and safety, and physical development.

Each week, you’ll receive three text messages with helpful ways to promote your child’s development through everyday activities—like finding odd or even addresses while walking to school. Ready4K tips build on your daily routines, like getting dressed, bath time, or preparing a meal. And you’ll always get messages that match your child’s age.

Pasco County Schools is providing this service free of charge for all families from Pre-K to 8th grade. Data and message rates may apply. Families can opt-out of these texts at any time by texting “STOP” to 70138.

If you have additional questions or need help with Ready4K, you can text “HELP” to 70138 or email support@parentpowered.com.
