Florida Blue and BayCare Health System have reached an agreement for a new multi-year contract to keep all BayCare hospitals, doctors, and other health care services in all Florida Blue networks. Our Florida Blue members should not experience any disruption in the care they receive at BayCare.

• All members who received the pre-termination notification will receive a “good news” letter the week of October 3, 2022.
• All members who were reassigned to new PCPs will be reassigned back to their BayCare PCP effective October 1, 2022. These members will receive a notification the week of October 3 to let them know.
• Members with HMO plans can disregard any letters they received from Florida Blue notifying them of a change in their PCP doctor. They can continue to see their BayCare Medical Group doctor.
• Members with questions should call the toll-free number on the back of their member ID card.
