April is Florida School Volunteer Appreciation Month. We are grateful to our volunteers who have shown outstanding dedication and commitment to quality education in Florida. During the 2020-2021 school year, volunteer opportunities were limited due to COVID-19 and volunteers were used on an "as needed basis" in Pasco County Schools.  For example, our PTA/PTO and SAC members attended meetings via Zoom.  Volunteers were offered "at home projects" to work on for teachers at home instead of in the classroom.  We truly missed our volunteers in our schools this year and hope next year will look different.
