The Flex Education Program is a new opportunity for home education students in Pasco County to participate in up to three Advanced Placement courses offered in our public brick and mortar high schools and/or our public virtual school while maintaining their home education status. This program is especially designed for students using Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES) or Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarships, but is open to all home education students.
Students who are part of the state Personalized Education Program (PEP) or are registered in a home education program with Pasco County Schools are eligible to apply for Flex Education. Participation is subject to course availability and school capacity.
To participate in the Flex Education program, tuition is required for students who have a scholarship and is outlined in the table below:
* For students not on a scholarship, course tuition is covered by state funding. Additional course fees may apply.
