New! Flex Education Program for Home Education Students

The Flex Education Program is a new opportunity for home education students in Pasco County to participate in up to three Advanced Placement courses offered in our public brick and mortar high schools and/or our public virtual school while maintaining their home education status. This program is especially designed for students using Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES) or Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarships, but is open to all home education students.

Students who are part of the state Personalized Education Program (PEP) or are registered in a home education program with Pasco County Schools are eligible to apply for Flex Education. Participation is subject to course availability and school capacity.

  • Students may take up to 3 advanced placement courses at their residentially zoned school and/or Pasco eschool.
    • If the course is not offered at the zoned school, Pasco County Schools may consider permitting the student to attend the course at another school, based on availability.
  • Students are not eligible to earn a high school diploma from Pasco County Schools through this program.
  • Students are not considered full-time public school students.
  • No transportation is provided.
