The Flex Education Program is a new opportunity for Personalized Education Program (PEP) and home education students in Pasco County to participate in up to three Advanced Placement courses offered in our public brick and mortar high schools and/or our public virtual school. This program is especially designed for students using Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES) or Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarships, but is open to all home education students.
Students who are part of the state Personalized Education Program (PEP) or are registered in a home education program with Pasco County Schools are eligible to apply for Flex Education. Participation is subject to course availability and school capacity.
Participation in these classes for PEP students would require the payment of a course fee through eligible scholarship funds and is outlined in the table below:
* Home Education students in Pasco County who are not in the PEP program nor receiving scholarship funds may also utilize this opportunity and will be enrolled on a part-time basis and reported for FTE, therefore the tuition above does not apply. Additional course fees may apply.
