Pasco Flex Education Program for Home Education Students


The Pasco Flex Education Program is an opportunity for Personalized Education Program (PEP) and home education students in Pasco County to participate in up to three courses offered in our public brick and mortar schools and/or our public virtual school. This program is especially designed for students using Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES) or Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarships, but is open to all home education students.

Please note, not all course are available at all schools. 

Students who are part of the state Personalized Education Program (PEP) or are registered in a home education program with Pasco County Schools are eligible to apply for Flex Education. Participation is subject to course availability and school capacity.

  • Students may take up to 3 courses at their residentially zoned school and/or Pasco eschool.

    • If the course is not offered at the zoned school, Pasco County Schools may consider permitting the student to attend the course at another school, based on availability.

  • Students are not eligible to earn a high school diploma from Pasco County Schools through this program.  

  • Students are not considered full-time public school students.  

  • No transportation is provided.

Enrollment is available for both scholarship-funded and non-scholarship students.

Tuition and fee requirements vary by student type.


Non-Scholarship Students
Home Education students in Pasco County who are not receiving scholarship funds may enroll part-time and will be reported for FTE; therefore, the tuition listed below does not apply. Additional course fees may be required.


Scholarship-Funded Students
Students receiving scholarship funds (including FTC-PEP, FES-UA, and other eligible programs) must use those funds to pay applicable course fees, as outlined in the table below.

*An additional fee of $550.00 is included in the tuition for textbooks, review materials and assessment fees.  

**An additional fee of $100 is included in the tuition for tools and resources needed for the course.

How to Apply

  1. Submit a Flex Education Interest Form by Wednesday, August 12, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. Registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on Wednesday, June 17, 2026
    • Please note applications will be processed in the order they are received.
  2. You will be contacted by the Home Education Office to coordinate school assignment, course selection and registration.  You will also be provided information to complete the following steps:
  • Sign and submit the Pasco Flex Education Contract. 
  • Pay tuition by the deadline to secure enrollment for students who have a scholarship. 
  • Complete registration documents.
