Pasco Pathways Expo 2020 FAQ

This event is a way for parents/guardians and students to learn about the options available on the east or west side of Pasco County as well as the Pasco Pathways School Choice application. This event will be held virtually on November 16th (west side schools) and November 19th (east side schools) from 5-8 p.m. We will utilize a platform called Event Owl as well as Zoom so that each school participating can have a virtual “table” families can visit to answer general questions as well as live sessions.

You can find the list of schools that will be attending each event at: http://pasco.k12.fl.us/expo

  • Click on this link https://fasaevents.com/ and then click on the “register” button to create an account for Event Owl.

  • Once you log in you will be prompted to choose which date of the expo you will be attending.

  • Families are free to attend one or both of the events.

  • Once logged in you will be able to add sessions that you would like to attend by adding them to “Your Favorites.”

  • It is important to review the session information available prior to adding a session to your favorites to ensure the session is applicable to your student.

You can view your blue checks in the “Agenda” tab on Event Owl.

We HIGHLY encourage families to register at least a week prior to the event so you can solidify your schedule. Registration will be available up until the night of the event.

Yes, you can visit the “virtual tables” on the Exhibitor tab to ask general questions of schools without signing up for live sessions.

No, you can come and go based on the sessions you are signed up for or the virtual tables you plan to visit.

Families can apply for school choice through myStudent. There will be one application window for the 21-22 school year. Please visit http://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/ed_choice for dates and important information.

  • There will be informational sessions available at each expo. Parents may sign up to attend for more information. This will also be shared with parents on our website, on social media and through phone calls over the coming weeks.

  • If you would like more information, please attend one of the sessions titled “How to create a myStudent parent account and apply for School Choice”. These sessions will take place at 5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., or 7:15 p.m.
