Local Funding

Funds generated through the referendum would remain local and directly support Pasco County Schools.

The primary use of funding is non-administrator employee salaries. This includes teachers, bus drivers, instructional assistants, custodial employees, food service employees, and school support staff.

A smaller percentage of funding is planned to support school safety.

Annual Transparency Reporting

Pasco County Schools is committed to annual public reporting regarding referendum revenue and expenditures via the Salary Referendum Oversight Committee (SROC), a committee of citizens who review Salary Referendum expenditures to ensure that funds are being spent as promised.

The district will continue providing transparency to taxpayers regarding how referendum funds are used.
