Great American Smoke Out/Vaping Awareness Day

This post was created on 11/04/2019.

The  Great American Smokeout  is an annual event held on the third Thursday of November that is intended to draw attention to the health impacts of cigarette smoking and vaping and to encourage Americans to quit its usage. With the alarming trend of vaping by teens, there is clearly a need to educate them about the addictive nature of nicotine and the health impacts of cigarette smoking, including its electronic form.  On November 21, take a moment talk to your teens about nicotine addiction and the health hazards of vaping.
