FUTURE PLANS:

Based on the Family Feedback Survey the department will:

  • Continue working with teachers across the district to strengthen engaging instructional practices, including hands-on learning, real-world application, clear expectations for
  • Continue planning two future school sites to open in August of 2028 to address capacity in the Wesley Chapel area: Two Rivers K-8 and (Unnamed) High School.
TRANSPARENCY:
  • Grading: School-based administrators monitor adherence to written grading policies. If you have a concern about grading, please contact your school to discuss the policy and how it applies to your specific situation. We will continue to use feedback from each survey to improve our policies and procedures.
  • Assessment: We intentionally plan testing schedules based on national/international, state, and college tests that are mandated and local tests that are necessary to plan for effective student instruction.
  • Enrollment: Even with the substantial new neighborhoods being built across our community, data shows that student enrollment has been declining over the past five years, which impacts the available funding for staffing. Overall, enrollment in the West is declining, and enrollment in some pockets of the East has increased.
