Scholarship:

Katya is in the top 5% and has been taking challenging courses since she came to Cypress Creek. Katya has a 4.44 GPA. She has taken five dual enrollment courses and four AP courses, one including AP Calculus. She is a Sunshine All Academic Athlete. She is a Positive Coaching Alliance Finalist.

Leadership:

Katya was part of the Youth Leadership Pasco program during her junior year. She owns her own multimedia content business. She is also president of the spirit club here at Cypress Creek. She is the advertiser for student government. Katya filmed on the set of an Emmy Nominated tv show, American Dream.

Service:

Katya has created endless videos for Cypress Creek, including the new student introduction to Cypress video and Pasco Pathways. She is a NHS tutor, which meets every Tuesday to help students who need help. She was a Camp Swamp summer leader this past summer, helping those engage with different activities.

Citizenship:

A female student can be a good citizen by actively participating in her community, promoting inclusivity, and demonstrating responsibility. Engaging in volunteer work, supporting local initiatives, and advocating for social justice can contribute to her role as a positive member of society. Additionally, maintaining respect for others and adhering to the laws and norms of her community further exemplify her commitment to good citizenship.
