Anclote High School

Scholarship:

Raphael currently has a 3.8 weighted GPA and is ranked in the top 10% of his class. He has taken multiple AICE, Pre-AICE, and honors courses throughout high school and has earned two college credits so far. He has also successfully completed some of his senior courses online to allow him extra time to work as our BCE student. He balances his grades and coursework while excelling at other extracurricular activities.

Leadership:

Raphael is the battalion commander for our ROTC program and is our student government president. He is also a captain for club soccer. Raphael is a true leader; not only by the positions he holds, but every day in his actions and words. He has the respect of all staff members and students that he interacts with. He makes important decisions each day as our BCE student and handles himself with professionalism.

Service:

Raphael has accrued 414 community service hours since 9th grade. He earned most of those hours from tutoring elementary and middle school students through the Citizens Alliance program in Tarpon Springs. He also regularly volunteers at his church and was a mentor to elementary school students for one year. He has also worked concessions for track and field for over 200 hours and helped with setting up for homecomings and proms.

Citizenship:

Raphael earned the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award during his junior year for his outstanding service and character. He also attended Boys State through the American Legion during the summer prior to his senior year where he represented Anclote High School. Raphael was invited to two principal's brunches during his junior year after receiving positive referrals from his teachers.
