Zephyrhills High School

Scholarship:

Over the course of my four years at Zephyrhills High school, I’ve received honor roll all four years, enrolled in dual enrollment courses, taken AP classes, and succeeded in many honors classes. I also earned my academic letter my freshmen year of high school. Due to my academic achievements, I’ve not only been able to join NHS and receive scholarships for college, but I’ve also developed skills such as time management.

Leadership:

eing at ZHS has provided me with many opportunities to be a leader. I’m currently serving in my third year of being class president. I’m also a varsity cheerleading captain, as well as a varsity weightlifting captain. I also lead National Honor Society by being the 12th grade advisor. Being a leader in my school gives me the opportunity to lead events like homecoming and community parades. I’ve also attended leadership conferences such as HOBY.

Service:

Not only do I serve my school and class, but I also serve my community in many different ways. I serve in my local church by watching the younger kids and serving meals. I have also volunteered at local elementary schools for the past seven years. I’ve read books, delivered food, and assisted at school dances. I’m also a peer during the day, where I do anything the administration and staff need me to do.

Citizenship:

Living in a small town, citizenship has always been more than who you vote for and doing your civic duties, but everything to do with your character and morals. My hometown is full of diversity. Therefore, from a young age I was taught to treat everybody with kindness and respect. With this I can only hope that I’m a role model for younger generations, the same way my parents, teachers, and coaches were for me.
