Accelerated Opportunities
Starting in 6th grade, students can participate in advanced and accelerated coursework designed to challenge them academically. As they progress through middle school, students may begin earning high school credits, allowing them to prepare for future academic demands, get ahead, and unlock expanded opportunities in high school such as specialized electives, college credit, and industry certifications.
Transitioning To Middle School
The transition to middle school marks an important developmental stage where students gain greater independence, build stronger organizational skills, and adjust to new academic expectations. During this time, they are supported in navigating a new learning environment, empowering them to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Progressing through Middle School
Successful completion of middle school is essential because it ensures students have developed the academic skills, study habits, and foundational knowledge needed to thrive in high school. This milestone also supports students’ social and emotional growth, preparing them to navigate increased responsibility, independence, and future academic opportunities with confidence.
