Land O’ Lakes, FL – (November 13, 2019) – Pasco eSchool Principal JoAnne Glenn was named Pasco County Schools Principal of the Year this morning.
Superintendent Kurt Browning, School Board Member Colleen Beaudoin, Pasco Education Foundation Executive Director Stacey Capogrosso, and district and foundation staff surprised Mrs. Glenn while she and her staff were conducting training at the district office complex. Mrs. Glenn will be nominated for Florida Principal of the Year.
JoAnne Glenn has served as the administrator for Pasco eSchool since its launch in 2009. Though she began her career as a high school administrator for the District School Board of Pasco County in 2006, she has been a mathematics teacher in the Tampa area since 1994, teaching all levels of middle and high school mathematics. When she had the opportunity to begin teaching online in 1999, she didn’t hesitate. It’s a passion and hobby she continues today!
“Pasco eSchool would not be one of the largest, most effective virtual schools in Florida without her vision, wisdom, and leadership excellence. She is REMARKABLE in every way. JoAnne is an amazing support for Classroom on Demand (COD) for Geometry and Liberal Arts, as well as planning our Aviation COD need. She is a Classroom on Demand lifesaver and answers messages at all hours so students can learn,” reads her nomination form.
Mrs. Glenn received her Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Master’s in Mathematics Education from the University of Florida. She lives in Tampa with her husband, two children, and two chihuahuas.
