As part of Career, Technical and Adult Education's (CTAE) continuing efforts to prepare students today for tomorrow's workforce, CTAE is coordinating a Career & Tech Fair 2022 for graduating seniors later this month.
Event calendar:
9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, at Zephyrhills High School
9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday, April 28, at Fivay High School
Event details:
Several organizations will be in attendance to share information with students about opportunities after high school. There will be more than 50 tables set up showcasing their business/industry, and representatives will be discussing the opportunities available for students.
Students will be informed before the event as to who will be in attendance and have an opportunity to register and provide any information they want to share, such as a resume, with a particular company.
Organizations in attendance will be representing many different industries, like manufacturing, construction, government, education, healthcare, armed forces, and more.
Graduating seniors will be connected to:
- Certificate programs
- Apprenticeship programs
- On-the-job training opportunities
- Armed services opportunities
Transportation will be provided, but students must register before April 22.
