Responsible for assisting the director with management of preconstruction projects and contract administration associated with the delivery of capital projects. This includes oversight for all aspects of planning, coordination and construction of new schools, campus redevelopment, and remodeling/renovation projects. This position requires direct supervision of staff; ensuring day-to-day operations are performed in accordance with related policies, procedures, codes and regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, talk and hear; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Hazards: The worker is subject to hazards. This includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places and exposure to high heat or chemicals
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be established by the District.
