Health and Wellness Collaboratives
Chasco K-8 Community School

Welcome to Chasco K–8 Community School

Located on the Chasco K–8 School Campus in Port Richey, the Chasco K–8 Community School was established to meet the unique needs of the students and families it serves. This initiative is a collaborative effort among several dedicated partners, including:

  • Children’s Home Society
  • Premier Community HealthCare
  • Metropolitan Ministries
  • University of South Florida
  • District School Board of Pasco County

Together, these organizations work to provide comprehensive support and resources to the Chasco community.

Our Mission

The Chasco K–8 Community School is committed to increasing access to essential services for both students and families. Through this partnership, we offer:

  • Medical, dental, and mental health care provided by Premier Community HealthCare, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Pasco and Hernando Counties since 1979.
  • Basic needs support, including a clothing closet and food pantry stocked with shelf-stable items and fresh foods to help ensure no student or family goes without.

By integrating education with health and social services, Chasco K–8 Community School is building a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community.
