Land O’ Lakes, FL – (November 15, 2019) – Pasco County schools will welcome professionals and hobbyists this Wednesday, November 20, for the Great American Teach-In. Some guest speakers will visit schools on other days throughout the week.

The Great American Teach-In exposes students to a variety of professions to help them consider what career may interest them. Some examples of guests include:

• Big Cat Rescue, 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Pine View Elementary School
• FBI agent, 11:50 a.m. to 3 p.m., Pine View Elementary School
• Beekeeper, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mittye P. Locke Elementary School
• S.W.A.T., 10 a.m. to noon. Mittye P. Locke Elementary School
• Pasco County Fire Safety, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hudson Elementary School
• Poison Control, 10 a.m. to noon, Charles S. Rushe Middle School
• Nurse, 2:20 p.m. to 3 p.m., Charles S. Rushe Middle School
• Weeki Wachee Mermaids, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Chasco Middle School
