Scholarship:

Nathan's academic accomplishments are wide ranging and noteworthy. He currently ranks number 3 in a graduating class of 577 students. He has earned a level 4 or above on each of the nine Advanced Placement (AP) exams he has taken so far, balancing his busy schedule with his academics to find success both in and out of the classroom. He will graduate with his A.A. degree from PHSC prior to graduating high school.

Leadership:

Nathan has held numerous leadership roles over the course of his high school career. He currently serves as the WRHS Chapter President of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Chairman of the WRHS School Advisory Council (SAC), and as a District Student Congress Representative. These opportunities have offered him the opportunity to represent his local and school communities in various capacities, aiming to support the values and goals of each organization's mission.

Service:

To date, Nathan has accumulated 420 hours of community service, with more likely coming over the course of this school year. Nathan's service-minded approach benefits both the WRHS and Pasco County community in a multitude of ways. He has led events on our campus for Teacher Appreciation week, presented information on healthy choices during Red Ribbon Week to elementary and middle school aged students, and has helped various organizations that serve vulnerable populations.

Citizenship:

Nathan's approach to citizenship is one of genuine care for those around him. While he grows from the varying experiences and connections he makes throughout the community, he leads with his heart to benefit his school and local communities. He aims to promote a safe, welcoming, and healthy environment for all, utilizing his compassion in ways that benefit the experiences of everyone. The WRHS learning community is fortunate to have his passion and leadership.
