Scholarship:

I consider myself scholarly by having achieved “A” honor roll since I can remember. I have dedicated many hours of studying to prove to my teachers that they are doing a great job. I have always wanted to make sure that each teacher understood that I cared about their class and wanted to excel. I have enjoyed being able to teach my peers if they needed help and conversing with my parents about my accomplishments.

Leadership:

In my eyes, a leader is vocal and willing to assist others in succeeding (basketball captain, Outstanding Pack Leader). As a junior on the CCHS Varsity Basketball Team, I held the school record for career assists by passing the ball to teammates, who experienced the success of making a basket. Also, in the classroom, I have always led my peers in completing group projects using my communication skills to make sure everyone understands their responsibility.

Service:

I volunteer for numerous organizations because I believe it is necessary to give back to your community. I genuinely care for those in need. With more than 165 volunteer hours, I have worked many sporting events, delivered beds to ABC families, parked cars for fundraisers, worked basketball camps for fundraisers, helped with Special Olympics, provided photography for football team videos, and assisted students with classwork and homework as a Pack Leader for two years.

Citizenship:

I strive to be an outstanding citizen by being a positive role model for my peers. In basketball, church, friend gatherings, or school, I present myself in a respectful manner, which many of my coaches and teachers have acknowledged. In fact, if I needed assistance from any of my previous coaches or teachers, they would be there with open arms; as I have done the same through respect, and an open mind—ready to learn.
