Who: Pasco County Schools, students, families, and community members

What: Pasco County’s largest Veterans Day ceremony

When: 10 a.m., Monday, November 11

Where: Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel High School, 30651 Wells Rd, Wesley Chapel

Why: Pasco County Schools are in session on Veterans Day to celebrate our veterans and to assure that students learn about the sacrifices members of the military make, and have made, to keep the United States a free country.

How: Superintendent Kurt Browning, the District School Board of Pasco County, and Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley host the 6th annual Pasco County Schools Veterans Day Ceremony. Philip Kapusta, Pasco Sheriff’s Office Future Operations Bureau chief and retired US Navy Captain (SEAL Team), will be the keynote speaker. The event also will feature student performances and salute all branches of the military.

In addition, many schools throughout Pasco County are hosting special Veterans Day tributes on November 11. A list of school events with school contact information and full details can be found here.
