New Resource Center Offers Free Health Service, Food & Clothing to Students & Community

The new Hudson Community Health Resource Center (HCHRC) will officially open its doors to Pasco County students and the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 14410 Cobra Way in Hudson.  HCHRC is located on Cobra Way between Hudson Academy (14540 Cobra Way) and the Hudson High football field. 

HUDSON Fla., Pasco County Schools is excited to announce the opening of the new Hudson Community Health & Resource Center on the Hudson High campus. With the help of several community partners, the facility offers free medical, mental health and dental services, in addition to providing a food bank, clothing bank and access to computers and printers.  All of these services are dedicated to local residents, but free to all visitors, with no eligibility requirements.  The only information collected will be names, zip codes, family size and number of children in each household.   

HCHRC sits on the Hudson High School campus, and is accessible to students there, as well as the nearby Hudson Academy and the Hudson Primary Academy.  Members of the public are also welcome to access the food and clothing banks, as well as the internet resource room.  Medical services are free for students, but not available to the community at this time.  

Community partners include Premier Healthcare, Feeding Tampa Bay, Metropolitan Ministries’ NeighborHope Project, Molina Healthcare and St. Leo University to provide residents with the tools they need to address the root causes of poverty.
