Thank You, River Ridge High!

I recently had the opportunity to visit River Ridge High School, and it was an inspiring look at how this campus is preparing students for success in both the classroom and beyond.

One of the highlights was visiting the New Teacher Academy, an established and impactful program that gives students interested in becoming educators the chance to learn by doing. Through real-world, hands-on experiences, these future teachers are already making a difference—and gaining the skills and confidence needed to lead classrooms of their own one day. It’s a powerful investment in the future of education.

I also had the chance to see behind the scenes of River Ridge’s exceptional arts program. Whether through visual arts, music, or theatre, students are embracing creativity, expression, and discipline—and the results are truly remarkable. Programs like these ensure students are seen, heard, and empowered.

When we create spaces where students can see themselves in their future, we create a school that shapes more than learners—we shape leaders. That’s exactly what’s happening every day at River Ridge.
