I recently had the privilege of visiting Marchman Technical College and was truly inspired by the incredible work happening there. During my time on campus, I had the opportunity to meet with dedicated staff, the passionate director, and talented students who are actively preparing for successful futures through hands-on learning.
From welding and electrical to cosmetology and culinary arts, it was amazing to see students fully engaged in real-world training that builds both skill and confidence. Programs like these are a shining example of our belief in Pasco County Schools—that while not every student needs to attend a four-year liberal arts college, every student does need access to some form of postsecondary education. Whether that’s through technical training, certification programs, apprenticeships, or college, we are committed to providing the tools our students need to unlock the future they choose.
A very special thank you to the Wendell Krinn 11th through 12th grade culinary students for preparing an absolutely incredible meal for us during our visit. Your professionalism, creativity, and hospitality were a highlight of the day and a true reflection of the excellence of our Pasco County students.
Thank you again to the entire Marchman team for the warm welcome and for the amazing work you do each day to empower students.
