SSPS:Occupational Therapy Eligibility
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a related service. A student who requires occupational therapy is one whose physical, motor or neurological deficits result in a significant dysfunction in daily living skills, academic learning skills, or adaptive social or emotional behaviors needed to attain functional performance in the educational setting. A student is eligible for occupational therapy if he/she demonstrates a significant developmental deficit or dysfunction to a degree not otherwise provided for in the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) instructional environment
Note: A student must be currently receiving ESE services or have a 504 Plan.
