Thank you for your interest in Pasco Mobile, our new mobile website built specifically for users ”on-the-go.” Designed for the latest generation of handheld devices, Pasco Mobile includes many exciting features. Chief among them are District news and press links, school and department contact information, driving directions, searchable phone and email directories, a map of the District Office complex, employment listings, and school lunch menus. (Making calls requires cellular service.)

Every effort has been made to ensure that Pasco Mobile works properly on the advanced browsers included with the newest generation of handheld devices, including the iPhone, iPod Touch, Android, and Palm Pre. While most parts of the site will also work on older handhelds, browsers on those devices may not be able to properly render certain pages, and some functions may depend on capabilities not present on those devices.

We will continually update the site, both to ensure compatibility with emergent devices, and to add important new features.

We currently recommend that visitors with Blackberry devices download and use the Opera Mini or Opera Mobile browser for the best experience. Research in Motion, the company behind Blackberry, has announced the future availability of a new browser for their devices. When that browser is released, we expect the Pasco Mobile experience to be on par with that on the other devices mentioned above.

Users can access Pasco Mobile by directing their handheld device’s Internet browser to the District’s homepage and clicking the red “Tap here to visit our mobile site” button, or by visiting http://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/mobile/. The full District website remains available at the touch of a button from the Pasco Mobile home page. If you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate to Contact Chris Cieszynski, District Website Coordinator. We hope you enjoy the new Pasco Mobile.
