Pasco County Schools is proud to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at Pine View Elementary (candidate school), Pine View Middle School (candidate school), Gulf High School, and Land O’ Lakes High School. The IB programme focuses on developing students’ strengths academically and as caring global citizens.

Students at IB World Schools are given a unique education that:

  • Encourages them to independently think and drive their own learning
  • Opens the door to educational programs that can lead them to some of the highest-ranking universities around the world
  • Teaches them to become more culturally aware, through the development of a second language
  • Prepares them to engage with people in an increasingly globalized, rapidly changing world

IB World School students develop strong academic, social and emotional characteristics. They also are likely to perform better than students in other programs.

The IB Diploma Programmes at GHS and LOLHS require an application process for entrance. For information on the application process for entrance in the 18-19 school year click here. To identify which high school program your student can apply for please reference the IB Boundary Map.
