Students Go Fishing for Dr. Seuss’ Birthday

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish was the theme for Dr. Seuss' Birthday on Wednesday, March 2nd.  Elementary students were surprised to find red gummy fish "swimming" in a cup of blue gelatin.  Many FNS employees dressed up for the event in support of National Reading Week, showcasing their "Cat in the Hat" and Thing One, Thing Two, Thing Three and more attire.

Earlier that morning, many elementary school food service programs served a special breakfast of green eggs and ham, and gave away Dr. Seuss books and other prizes. This has become an annual event, and thank you to all the employees that help make it possible.
