Who: Deputy Superintendent Ray Gadd, School Board, Jacques Hakim of Classic Crates, Congressman Gus Bilirakis, Pasco Commissioner Mike Wells, and district social workers

What: Donation of 1,000 toys for Pasco County Schools students

When: Friday, December 13, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Where: Pasco County Schools Distribution Center, 7227 Land O’Lakes Blvd, Building 1, Land O’Lakes

Why: Jacques Hakim is a local business owner and entrepreneur. He also is an educator, who teaches Finance, Banking and Business Courses at St. Petersburg College. He firmly believes in the success of his students as well as giving back to his community and wants to encourage other businesses and corporations to more to support less fortunate members of the community. Jacques’ wife of 33 years, Jade Hakim, is a second grade teacher at Longleaf Elementary School.

How: Mr. Hakim, Comm. Wells, and Rep. Bilirakis will present the donation to the district’s social work staff for Pasco’s students.
