Media Production Lab
The mission of Media Production is to provide assistance in the creation of audio, visual, and graphic products for the classroom in addition to providing a wide variety of related services, including the Media Production Lab, audio/video, school TV studio setup, and the Pasco Education Television cable television station.
MEDIA PRODUCTION LAB
The Media Production Lab offers a wide range of services and materials to all school district personnel, including:
- A large selection of die-cut shapes, including the alphabet from 2” to 8”
- Laminating - both hot laminate and a new “extra thick” cold laminate.
- A poster making machine - available in 3 different sizes and a variety of colors.
- Designing and making buttons, smaller (full color) posters, and any other specialty project to meet your specific needs.
- A large variety of paper sizes, colors and weights, including “shiny” poster board, and regular poster board, also 48” craft paper on the roll.
- Matte board and framing assistance, including mounting photos or posters on foam board.
- All types of creative materials: glue, markers, glitter, crayons, tape, specialty scissors, labels.
- Duplicating and printing of CD’s and DVD’s
The above supplies and materials may be charged back to your school’s cost center by using a Interdepartmental Request (MIS #129) - see your bookkeeper - or you may pay with cash. You may also bring your own materials. There is no charge associated with using the lab itself.
- A computer and printer is available to use to work on projects in the lab.

AUDIO/VIDEO
Media Production assists District personnel in developing locally produced video programs, as well as assisting schools to develop their own programs through the Communicating the Vision (CTV) program. School-based educators interested in the CTV program should contact Andy Dunn at ext. 42448.
SCHOOL TELEVISION STUDIO SETUP
Media Production provides assistance with the setup of equipment for school-based television studios and other audio/visual equipment needs. Please contact Andy Dunn at ext. 42448 for further information or assistance.
PASCO EDUCATION TELEVISION
Media Production provides local origination for the Pasco County education cable channel PETV. These programs include a wide variety of topics such as school and student spotlights, sporting events and other extra curricular activities, school district information videos, as well as serving as a pipeline for other educationally oriented television programming.
