These resources are made available to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within our community and to continue supporting our staff and students.  COVID-19 screening and testing will continue through Winter Break.

If you have COVID-19 like symptoms, you can be screened by a Pasco County School Nurse, and if appropriate, receive a free COVID-19 test at our Land O' Lakes location.

Sunday COVID Screening

For Pasco County Schools STAFF ONLY

Due to the high volume of staff needing to be scheduled for COVID testing each Monday morning, the district will now be offering Sunday night screening and scheduling for STAFF ONLY. A Pasco County School Nurse will be available to screen, advised staff, and then a scheduler will call you to confirm your COVID test appointment for the following Monday, if needed on the following identified dates. The call volume at exactly 6:00 pm will be very high.  Please be patient and leave a message, if the call goes to voicemail, and you will be called back.  Everyone approved for testing will be scheduled Sunday night.

This resource will be available for all staff from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on the following dates:

• January
  • 1/17/21, 1/24/21, 1/31/2021
• February
  • 2/7/21, 2/14/21, 2/21/21

• Staff should only call if they are symptomatic and cannot pass the screener.

TIPS to Help Reduce the Risk of Spreading COVID-19

1. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
2. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.  Cover all dry surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
4. Avoid close contact - Stay at least 6 feet (social distancing) from other people outside of your home.
5. Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover (mask) when around others.  Face covers are not a substitute for social distancing.
