RSVP Program
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Provides meaningful opportunities for people 55 years of age or better to participate in their community through volunteer service. In the 2008-2009 school year over 1,202 RSVP volunteers contributed in excess of 133,741 hours of service to Pasco County.
Our volunteers help staff and assist community partners. Volunteers have the opportunity to provide support for elderly persons needing nutritious meals delivered to their homes, homeland security through the office of emergency management, mentoring and tutoring to students in schools and tax preparation for seniors, as well as many other areas of community service.
Through our RSVP grant, we provide insurance and recognition.
