Notes:

    1.  If Biology Honors is selected in grade 9, then chemistry honors with algebra II honors should be taken in grade 10.

    2.  If Chemistry Honors is selected, then it is suggested that Algebra II Honors be a co-requisite.
    3.  Students may change to an honors/AP sequence if academic interest/progress changes.

As shown above, science elective courses are offered in grades 11 and 12.  Every effort to understand one’s progress in science and college and/or career interest should be made.  It is never too early to check college websites for selecting information that may be of value in selecting high school science courses.

In order to give students a complete science background, standards in all bodies of knowledge need to be represented in the courses taken throughout high school.
