Superintendent’s Message on Wellness
Dear Valued Employee,
On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to welcome you to The District School Board of Pasco County’s Wellness Website. One of our district priorities is to create a culture of wellness throughout our district that will support employees’ personal health goals. In addition to the numerous personal benefits associated with wellness initiatives, we want to encourage employees to serve as a role model for our students through improved health habits. It is a well-documented medical fact that people who make proactive healthy lifestyle choices can reduce their risks of developing chronic health issues and/or many diseases. Also, we believe that a healthier workforce will result in lower direct health care costs and subsequent, cost savings to all employees through lower health premiums.
Thank you for your efforts on behalf of our students. I trust that you will find this website information to be useful.
Warmest regards,
Heather Fiorentino
Superintendent

A Message from Mary Tillman
The staff in EBARM wants all employees to be healthy, in mind and body, so they can be ready everyday to do their best for our children. Remember as you access health services that the District is self-insured for all medical, pharmacy and mental health services. Therefore, spend wisely, whenever you can use generics, see a primary care doctor instead of a specialist.
Also, take care of yourself, lose weight if you need to, stop smoking, take your medications as prescribed, and get some exercise. This is all good for your mind, body and wallet.
