Woodland Elementary to Showcase Renovations and Additions

What: Tour of renovations
When: 10 a.m., Friday, August 3
Where: Woodland Elementary School, 38203 Henry Drive, Zephyrhills
Why: On November 6, 2012, voters approved the continuation of the Penny for Pasco Surtax for another ten years. The renewal was supported by 70 percent of the voters in Pasco County. Pasco County Schools receives 45 percent of the proceeds.
How: The media is invited to join the Superintendent and Board Members to view the expanded parent drop off loop and additional paved parking for 100+ vehicles. They also will see a new and expanded administration suite, renovated kitchen/cafeteria and multi-purpose room (with stage), and 12 additional classrooms, a new art room, and two new music rooms.
