Play a Round of Golf, Support Local Special Olympics in Pasco

Special Olympics Pasco will be holding its 14th Annual Golf Tournament at Lexington Oaks Golf Club, on May 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The Special Olympics program is recognized as the most credible charitable organization in the country.  It was founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver over 30 years ago to provide a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Pasco County Special Olympics currently boasts more 1000 athletes actively participating in the program, which is recognized as one of the best in the state of Florida. There is no cost to the athletes or their families to participate, and Special Olympics must raise approximately $60,000 per year from fundraisers and donations to operate the program.

Money that is raised from this tournament will help to support the Pasco County Special Olympics program and send our athletes to County, Area, and State level competitions.  All the money raised and collected, will remain in Pasco County.  There are no administration costs or extra fees.

If you would like to participate in the golf tournament, please complete and submit the attached form. There is no need to organize a foursome as golfers can be assigned to a group on the day of the event.

Thank you for supporting Special Olympics Pasco!
