Pasco’s Young Entrepreneurs Hope to Win Big at Competition Finals

Who: Students from the business and entrepreneurship principles program, the Office for Career and Technical Education, Career Source Pasco/Hernando, the Pasco Education Foundation, the Pasco Economic Development Council, the USF Stavros Center, and Pasco SCORE

What: Pasco’s Young Entrepreneurs Finals

When: 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 25

Where: Land O’ Lakes High School Academy of Culinary Arts, 20325 Gator Lane in Land O’ Lakes

Why: Students will have the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of expert judges and a chance to be Pasco County’s Future Entrepreneur.

How: The finalists from each of the participating high schools will present their business idea in a traditional slideshow format to a live audience and panel of judges — startup experts representing Pasco County and the Tampa Bay region.
