Pasco School Board Approves Boundary Proposal

Land O’ Lakes, FL – (May 29, 2018) – The Pasco County School Board today voted 5-0 in a special board meeting to approve the superintendent’s recommended rezoning for J.W. Mitchell and River Ridge high schools, Seven Springs and River Ridge middle schools, and Anclote and Gulf high schools.

The new boundaries are effective beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.

A special school choice application window will open for affected students from June 6 through June 13.  Letters will be mailed no later than June 1 directly to the homes of students whose school assignment will change based on the new boundaries, letting them know about their new school assignment and providing information about applying for school choice.  Families that submit a school choice application during the special school choice application window will be notified of the results on June 25.
