New Board Policies Now Available Online

On August 8, 2007, the District School Board of Pasco County (DSBPC) entered into a license agreement with NEOLA, Inc. to begin a comprehensive revision of the DSBPC Policy Handbook. On October 3, 2007, various District administrators attended an orientation with NEOLA to receive their assignments as team leaders to begin the revision process. Over the past two years, numerous School Board workshops have been held with team leaders to provide Board members opportunity for input and for thorough review of each team's proposed policies. On October 6, 2009, and November 17, 2009, the Board had its final review of the proposed policies. The first public reading of these policies will occur at the December 15, 2009 School Board meeting. Upon approval, the second and final reading will occur at the January 19, 2010 Board meeting. The tentative DSBPC Policy Handbook is available now on the “Our School Board” section of the District website. If approved, these policies will become official immediately after the second reading.
