National Guard Provides Hudson High JROTC Students with Military Experience

Who: Hudson High School Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) students and staff, and the National Guard

What: National Guard visits Hudson High School JROTC

When: 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 26

Where: Hudson High School, 14410 Cobra Way in Hudson

Why: The National Guard will visit Hudson High School and provide JROTC students with an exciting military experience to remember.

How: The National Guard will visit the Hudson High School JROTC with a military Humvee and howitzer artillery gun, and fire blank rounds from the canon at the beginning of the first, second, third and sixth periods. The National Guard also will provide meals, ready-to-eat (MREs) and talk with students about the careers that its Florida force offers. For more information, contact Maj.
